Hotel @home semarang

Semarang city is my childhood home town, i live in this town about 25years since i was in preschool on tk istriyati baiturahman till i graduated from diponegoro university
Early this month i stay in @home semarang for 4days for vacation ,meet up with old friends and my wife family there..
I choose this hotels because it is placed in the center of the city near to the mall , restaurant, big mosque baiturahman, book store, sport stadium, etc

In the first morning i took my time to do jogging ,near this hotels there is a sport stadium called "Gor Tri lomba juang".. exactly behind the hotel you must walk around 3-5minutes from the hotel...(here's the pic from my instagram) and the good thing is after jogging i can eat my favorite chicken porridge "aie" in front of this stadium although i have breakfast from the hotel. but second meal in the morning after sports is OK for me .. : )

Back to the @home hotels ,Breakfast in the hotel is not special, you can meet with omelet ,rice,fried rice,noodle, some fruits ,milk and etc just average.
the room its quite clean and comfort ,t v channel is not much but o k, bathroom is o k but some time i can smell tobacco smoke although i stay in the non smoking room / floor ...it may unpleasant for those non smoker people. 
The service is good ,also there is free valley parking..
but-there is no gym and swimming pool facility ...but also the room rate is quite cheap..

The second day i am goes jogging to the marina beach in the morning it is not very far from the hotel about 10 to 15 minutes by car (depend on traffic)

The fresh air on the beach make me love to do sport here.. on the weekend you could meet some food counter here... the entrance ticket just Rp.5000,- per persons..


If you want to go by bus there is a bus shelter near the hotels you can go to heritage building or place around semarang like the old town or lawang sewu ,tugu muda, witch is near the hotel just 5-10 minutes by car or you can walk about 30 minutes.

Also in the @home lobby you can eat traditional indonesian food @tongji resto cafe...they serve original indonesian tea and many food that taste good for me at the reasonable price. o k i guess this is enough thank u for visiting my blogg

review hotel grand edge semarang

Iseng aja nih,maap berantakan i will make a sort review about salah satu hotel di semarang yang masuk kategori new 4 stars hotel in town. 

This hotel located in a Sultan Agung and  between upper and downtown Semarang its Easy to find transportation such as transsemarang. It has a nice view . kebetulan awal bulan ini oktober 2015 gw stay di sini dr jumat sampai minggu..pesan di Agoda 500k/night 

Not so far from Elisabeth hospital,bersebelahan dengan Giant swalayan, baso pak kumis dan satu gedung/menemplek dengan food city ada banyak kuliner di sana diantaranya makanan jepang,mosimo pizza,ayam gr surabaya,batagor bandung sampai dengan sate lilit nasi bali pun ada .

Lunch Beef donburi dan Beef Udon di ground floor Food city (lupa nama restony)heehe yang porsinya cukup besar pas untuk 2 orang beef nya premium quality dan potongannya mayan gede,mie udon ny gurih besar dan halus ditambah sayur dan rumput laud hmmm nyumy.. harga skitar 40k minuman macha tea hangat /ice disajikan dgn gelas jumbo 5k saja.. cukup lezat dan memuaskan.. ditambah senyuman bunda yg menyejukkan : )

 chiken katsu curry,mayan lah rasa kari nya mantab ada potongan kentang dan rempah kari nya mantab, ayamnya cukup banyak, klo suka minuman yg dingin macca milk shake dan ice creamnya enak juga...

Di lantai 3 Food city sempat nyoba batagor dengan ukuran besar perbijinya skitar 15k..tapi rasanya kurang memuaskan menurut ane..
nasi bali dan sate lilit nya lumayan rempahnya terasa bgt sedikit citarasa pedas khas bali dengan harga 40k cukup memuaskan.. blm smpt coba yg lainnya karena terlalu banyak silakan try for your self hehe... klo pencinta kuliner dan ga pengen repot cari makan jauh2 hotel ini cukup menyenangkan.

kebetulan waktu ane di sana ada pentas stand up comedy.. di panggung foodcourt yg biasanya menyajikan live music.. pengunjung food city ini dari mulai anak2, remaja sampai kakek nenek pun ada.



Plus:
Sky bar and pool amazing. Good quality for the room. Staff is very professional and friendly. Breakfast is very ok. The location on the hills of Semarang is a plus At the end good value for business travelers and also for tourists. The food court besides the hotel is ok

-fitness facility nya kimcil eh kicil alias small size bingit..cm ada 4 alat

-Not so good for non-smoking and people with medical conditions because

We  request for non-smoking room and non smoking floor. But the first stayed they were cigarette/tobacco sharp smell at the morning from exhaust fan on the toilet although the fan switch off. The second stayed, we can distinctively smell that some how tobacco smell but mostly just on the morning.. mungkin kebetulan saja dapat kamar yg begini.
